Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship at Porter Memorial Library
How do we navigate our way through the chaos, uncertainty, and upheaval of the current events that affect us all? We do so with a clear-eyed recognition of our fundamental rights and critical responsibilities as American citizens.
On Friday April 18 at 6 p.m., former UMM history professor Dr. Kay Kimball will facilitate a discussion of the rights and responsibilities of citizenship at Porter Memorial Library in Machias. Anyone who wants a better grasp of what it means to be a citizen is encouraged to attend.
Admission to this event is free. Seating is limited so please call ahead to reserve a spot. Porter Memorial Library is located at 92 Court Street in Machias. Email librarian@porter.lib.me.us or call 207-255-3933 for more information.
