Jonesboro Union Church Warming Center Opens

The Jonesboro Union Church Warming Center will open for the 2025-2026 winter season on Tuesday, Dec. 2, in the Chandler River Community Center next to the Church in Jonesboro. The Warming Center will be open each Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00-2:00, from December through March. The Warming Center will be closed for the holidays but will reopen on Tues., Jan. 6, 2026. We welcome anyone who would like to turn down their thermostat and save their winter fuel to join us for conversation, puzzles, games and a hot meal served at 11:30. Donations are gratefully accepted. All menu items are subject to change.

Tues., Dec. 2: Roast Pork

Thurs., Dec. 4: Hot Dogs and Beans

Tues., Dec. 9: Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Thurs., Dec. 11: Potato Bacon Soup

Tues., Dec. 16: Breakfast for Lunch

Thurs., Dec. 18: Spaghetti

Tues., Dec. 23: Chicken Dinner
