Road Closure Alert for Budd Ave
Due to Canada Day activities, the section of Budd Ave in front of the Garcelon Civic Center will be closed July 1st from 7am-3pm and traffic will be detoured.
Plan any travelling in advance and expect traffic congestion and delays.
Canada Day Celebrations in the Municipal District of St. Stephen Tuesday, July 1st
9am-2pm – Vendor’s Market with food by Am’s Thai Food and The Satay Queen
10am-2pm – Free Children’s Games and Inflatables, including a special “Toddler Town” play area with inflatables
10am – Patriotic Pet Parade. Dress up your cat, dog or other domesticated pet and parade them along the walking trail. Meet at shelter 3 (the big one) to line up.
11am – Kings Church Free BBQ (while supplies last)
11am – Welcome speeches on the main stage
12pm – Free Cake!
12pm-2pm – music by Cathy Hutch on the main stage
All Day – Troy’s Amusements Mini Carnival (rides and concessions) – Tilt-a-Whirl, Spinning Raspberry, Sky Fighter and more!
Rain location for most activities is the Garcelon Civic Center. Pet parade will be cancelled if it rains.
