Criminal Division Hearing Schedule 5/1-5/5

Bud Ellis and ADA Coleman have a hearing regarding a jury trial waiver in the matter of State of Maine v. Jashawn Lipscombe, a/k/a Jashuan Lipscombe in Kennebec County at 8:15 a.m. Lipscombe has been charged with the murder of Joseph Tracy on June 6, 2020. It is expected that the trial will start on May 22, 2023.

Suzanne Russell and Leanne Robbin have the arraignment and Motion for Discovery hearing in the matter of State of Maine v. Charles Harmon in Washington County at 1:30 p.m. Harmon has been charged with manslaughter in the death of his wife, Caroline Harmon, on September 15, 2022, along with being charged with domestic violence assault, domestic violence aggravated assault and intentional or knowing endangering the welfare of a dependent person. This will be done via Zoom.

May 4 through May 5, 2023

Leane Zainea and Don Macomber have jury selection in the cases of State of Maine v. Emanuel Ramos and State of Maine v. Juan Ortiz in Washington County at starting at 8:30 a.m. Trial will commence the following Monday, May 8, 2023. Ramos and Ortiz have been charged with the death of Brandin Guerrero on November 4, 2021, along with one count of robbery.
