On March 2, 2025 A Deputy on patrol in the northern section of Washington County on Rt 191 met a pickup truck at approximately 3:45 pm and recognized the driver as Nathaniel Lingley, 23 of Pembroke as the operator. The Deputy knew Lingley had 3 outstanding arrest warrants for multiple driving offenses including operating as a Habitual Offender and attempted to stop the vehicle. Mr. Lingley refused to stop and sped off at a high rate of speed and a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit ended on Rt 9 at Day Hill in Wesley when the pick up began to smoke and became disabled. Deputies took Mr. Lingley into custody and transported him to the Washington County Jail. In addition to the 3 outstanding Warrants Mr. Lingley was charged with Eluding an Officer, Driving to Endanger, Violation of Condition of Release, Aggravated Operating After Habitual Offender Revocation, Criminal Speed and Possession of Methamphetamine.
Mr. Lingley remains at the Washington County Jail on a $90,000.00 cash bail and his next court appearance will be March 14, 2025
