Children’s Librarian
Immediate Need
The City of Calais is currently accepting applications for the part-time position (28 hours a week), year-round position of Children’s Librarian at the Calais Free Library. This position requires an interest in children’s literature, creativity, attention to detail and love of children. The Children’s librarian is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the juvenile section of the library and will need to be able to work with children of all ages-planning programs and activities for them. Applicants must be a high school graduate or possess a GED or its equivalent. The successful applicant will be required to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test.
