This is the 8PM Outage Update
As of 7:55 PM EMEC had 5135 members without power. Crews have made good progress today. Additional broken poles and downed wires has made restoration challenging.
We currently have crews from Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine assisting with the recovery. We are expecting additional crew’s tomorrow.
Crews are currently working from the substations out to Alexander, Crawford. Meddybemps, Cooper, and Charlotte areas to get main lines followed by individual services. The central and northern service areas have made good progress with restoration efforts continuing tomorrow.
Crews will be working until 11PM tonight and will resume working at 6AM on Wednesday.
