This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine,
Coastal DownEast Maine, Far Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine,
Interior DownEast Maine, North Woods Maine and Penobscot Valley
Maine.


Light snow will develop Thursday and become heavier Thursday
evening before transitioning to a wintry mix then rain from south to
north overnight into Friday morning. Winter weather headlines are
likely, mainly across central and northern areas where the chance of
at least 4 inches of snowfall is greatest. Rainfall amounts Thursday
night to Saturday morning in excess of one and a half to two inches
are possible across Downeast areas, which may lead to localized
flooding of poor drainage areas. Gusty winds are also possible along
