On June 22 at approximately 10:59 am the Washington County RCC received a 911 call from a passing motorist reporting a single vehicle crash on West Street in Princeton. Law Enforcement, Fire and an Ambulance were dispatched to the scene. Deputies and first responders arrived at the scene and found that John Gagner, 43 of Bailleyville had not survived his injuries in the crash. Gagner was alone in the 2017 Chevy Silvarado pick up and was traveling North on West Street toward Rt. 1 in Princeton when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a large tree. Deputies were assisted by the Border Patrol, Indian Township PD, Indian Township rescue as well as Princeton and Baileyville fire departments. The crash remains under investigation.
