…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS
MORNING TO 3 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON…
* WHAT…Snow and mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
accumulations of 2 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of a light
glaze expected. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE…Portions of Central Highlands, Far Eastern, Interior
DownEast and Penobscot Valley Maine.
* WHEN…From 7 AM this morning to 3 PM EST this afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas
of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility and
cause localized hazardous travel. The hazardous conditions
could impact the morning commute. Damage to trees and power
lines is possible.
