The 16th annual Turkey A Thon is on October 9th

That’s right boys and girls, moms and dad, children of all ages. The 16th annual Turkey A Thon is on October 9th. As Steve miller would say, “Time keeps on ticking, ticking, ticking, into the future.”

With everything happening in the world today, it will be nice to have a day full of people helping people, of people laughing and smiling.

The best thing is that your donation stays right here in Washington County, helping a family enjoy a healthy holiday meal.

We are gearing up. We are warming up our vocal cords and dusting off the Turkey suit.

Our partner, Healthy Acadia is lining up people for their sites in Machias, Lubec, Millbridge and Columbia.

The Eastport crew, which includes the great students from Shead High School  is on standby.

Baileyville aka, Woodland is all set with volunteers from Woodland JR / Sr High School plus a host of others.

And we are set at VL Tammaro in Calais, thanks to our sponsors, Dunkin in Calais and Machias and VL Tammaro Oil in Woodland and in Calais.

We will be broadcasting live for 10 hours, from 7 am until 5 pm, reading all the names of the people who have stopped in to make a donation.
