VIRUS OUTBREAK-MAINE

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Maine’s governor has issued a statewide stay-at-home order that is scheduled to last until the end of the month as the state copes with mounting cases of coronavirus. Democratic Gov. Janet Mills said her order begins on Thursday. The news came Tuesday as Maine surpassed 300 people testing positive for the new coronavirus and recorded two more deaths. The Maine Center for Disease Control said the two deaths were in York and Kennebec counties. Maine has had a total of five deaths linked to COVID-19.
