RETURN OF VOTES CAST -- July 9, 2013 -- SCHOOL BUDGET VALIDATION REFERENDUM


At a legal meeting of the inhabitants of the City of Calais, in the County of Washington,  qualified by the Constitution to vote, said City, on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, the inhabitants gave their votes upon the following. The same were received, sorted, counted and declared in open meeting, by the City Clerk who presided and in the presence of the Deputy Clerk.

"Do you favor approving the Calais School Administrative Unit Budget  for the upcoming school year (2013-2014) that was approved by the Calais City Council at the Calais City Council meeting on June 28, 2013?"


YES = 55  NO = 238 BLANKS = 2



Question 2



"Do you wish to continue the budget validation referendum process in the City of Calais for an additional three years?"


YES = 184  NO = 98 BLANKS = 13
