RCMP: Firearms Seized, Three Teens Arrested In St. Stephen, N.B. - Mar. 21, 2013

Three teenagers have future court dates after St. Stephen RCMP went to an apartment in St. Stephen with a search warrant Wednesday morning

From the apartment on Ross Avenue in St. Stephen, police seized firearms, several of which were loaded, along with a quantity of cash, and other items believed to be related to criminal activity.

"The unlawful possession of firearms, particularly firearms which are not properly stored and loaded, pose a threat to public and police safety" said Sgt. Bob MacKnight,  District 1 RCMP.

A 17-year-old male, an 18-year-old female, and another 18-year-old male were arrested at the apartment.  All three have been released from custody on conditions to appear in St. Stephen Provincial Court at a later date.

Police said their investigation is continuing.
