Physician Hired For Calais VA Clinic - Dec. 03, 2012
The Veterans Administration has hired a full-time physician for the community-based outpatient clinic in Calais. According to the VA, Dr. Raymond Fluke will start on December 16.
Congressman Michael Michaud issued a statement which said, "While filling this position has taken far too long, I'm pleased the clinic will soon have Dr. Fluke as a full-time physician. At a time when there are large populations of underserved rural veterans, it is more important than ever that our clinics are fully staffed and able to provide the high standard of care that veterans have come to expect from the VA."
