S.C.R.T.C. has a local chapter with 20 students registered from all of the programs.

Can a person participate in the raffle and not the dinner?

YES! Raffle tickets can be purchased anytime and you do not need to be present to win! In addition, people can purchase their dinners as take-out orders.

What kinds of things are being raffled?

There are gift cards for food items, automotive services, building supplies, kitchen items, clothing, and numerous other things. The raffle is always popular and people can win some great items.

What are the funds raised for?

The dinner and raffle support the students’ trip to Bangor for the state Skills competitions. There are 18 students competing in all of the trade areas and leadership contests such as carpentry, cabinet making, automotive service, welding, computer programming, nurse assisting, health knowledge, job interview, employment skills, early childhood education and prepared speech.

The funds support a group dinner and activities preceding and following the contests.

Students who win gold medals at the state competitions will travel to Louisville, Kentucky in June to compete in the nationals.

Skills USA students will be serving as wait staff at the spaghetti dinner.
