Maine State Fire Marshals investigated a fire in Machiasport
On Oct. 20, at approximately 5:10 p.m., Fire Marshals responded to 58 Corn Hill in Machiasport for a fire. Owner, Kenneth Faas, 50, of Machiasport, wasn’t home at the time. He was not insured and the building was considered a total loss. He did not lose any pets, and no one was injured. The cause of the fire is undetermined, as investigators were unable to rule out multiple accidental causes.
