People are scurrying behind the scenes, making sure everything is ready for the 16th Annual Turkey A Thon.
I have a hair appointment, so I know I will look good for the radio broadcast.

In this very strange year, it is good to see everyone still helping make the Turkey A Thon run smoothly.
The food pantries are always ready, every week, helping their friends and neighbors.
This is one opportunity to help them.
Of course we will have a place, close by, for you to come purchase a turkey.
We will have people in Columbia, Milbridge, Machias, Lubec, Eastport, Baileyville and Calais.
Make a donation in honor of someone, in memory of someone, or for yourself.
All money is spent at local stores, then given to local food pantries to be distributed to local people.
Healthy Acadia has been making sure all locations are staffed and ready to safely take your donation.
We have so many volunteers that make this work, Many of our schools are ready to pitch in and help or make a donation.
We will be on the air on WQDY 92.7 FM in Calais and WALZ 95.3 FM in Machias, from 7 am until 5 pm, reading the names of all the thoughtful people who have taken the time to make a donation.
I look forward to seeing or hearing from each and every one of you.
