ORONO, Maine (AP) — The coronavirus pandemic has been especially hard on farmers, and the University of Maine is taking steps to help food producers manage stress. The University of Maine Cooperative Extension said it is offering free online farm coaching and help with stress management and communication. The extension said it is also offering help with problem-solving on the farm and within families. The assistance will include resources about stress reduction and well-being. The extension said participants will include a human resources specialist, an extension educator, farmer owners and others.
