BOSTON (AP) — New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu welcomed a FedEx plane from China carrying about 91,000 pounds of personal protective equipment Sunday at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. The Vermont Department of Corrections said 32 inmates and 16 staff members tested positive at the Northwest State Correctional Facility. The number of people in Massachusetts who have died from COVID-19 rose to 756 on Sunday. Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont has signed an executive order implementing a medical surge plan for long-term care facilities. Seven more deaths in Rhode Island have been attributed to COVID-19, bringing the total deaths as of Sunday to 63.
