Bangor, Maine – There is a critical need for blood due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and Anah Shrine wants to help. This Thursday April 2nd begins a series of blood donation events being held at the Anah Shrine Center at 1404 Broadway in Bangor. From Noon-5 PM on these 4 Thursdays (April 2nd, 9th, 16th & 30th) the American Red Cross will be accepting blood donations.
For those wanting to donate, please visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-Red-Cross (1-800-733-2767) to schedule an appointment. In order to minimize risk, and to assist in meeting the social distancing requirements set forth by the Governor, we ask that potential donors make an appointment, keep their appointment and arrive no more that 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment.
