Building supervisor injured in blast is out of the hospital

 

FARMINGTON, Maine (AP) — A building supervisor credited with saving lives by evacuating a building before a deadly propane blast in Farmington, Maine, is out of the hospital five months later. The Bangor Daily News reports that Larry Lord was discharged from Massachusetts General Hospital and transferred to a rehabilitation center. Lord helped get almost a dozen people get out of the building on Sept. 16, 2019, before the explosion erupted when he re-entered with firefighters. The blast killed Farmington fire Capt. Michael Bell and injured six other firefighters.
